Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017 is a citrus aromatic fragrance for men, composed by François Demachy for Dior in 2017 and reworked to sit closer to the house's original signature. The note list is tiny and the fragrance is built on contrast: citron, bergamot and lavender absolute at the top, Haitian vetiver alone in the middle doing all the woody work, and elemi in the base, warm and resinous. Its campaign used unpublished images of Alain Delon taken during the 1969 film La Piscine. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it works in any season, day or night.
