Cinéma is an oriental floral for women, composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud for Yves Saint Laurent in 2004. Clementine and almond blossom open it softly, with cyclamen adding a green edge, then jasmine, peony and amaryllis fill the middle without ever growing heavy. The base is warm and balsamic: vanilla and amber over benzoin and white musk, powdery at the end. Gentler than its name suggests. It lasts a long time but projects moderately, and it works in autumn and winter, day or night.
