Mon Paris is a chypre fruity for women, created for Yves Saint Laurent in 2016 by Dora Baghriche, Harry Fremont and Olivier Cresp. Strawberry and raspberry lead, sweet and jammy over pear and bergamot, and the heart is white and heady with datura at its centre alongside jasmine and orange blossom. What keeps it from being simply a fruity floral is the base: two patchoulis, one of them Indonesian, over moss, white musk and ambroxan, giving it a dark chypre edge under all that sugar. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring daylight.
