La Nuit de l'Homme is a woody spicy fragrance for men, made for Yves Saint Laurent in 2009 by Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Pierre Wargnye. It is a short list done well: cardamom opens it warm and dusty, lavender and bergamot keep it clean and slightly bitter, and cedar, vetiver and caraway take it somewhere drier and closer to skin. Spicy without heat, dark without weight. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Autumn and winter, after dark.
