Manifesto

Manifesto is an oriental floral for women, created for Yves Saint Laurent in 2012 by Anne Flipo and Loc Dong. Blackcurrant and green notes open it tart and leafy over bergamot, then sambac jasmine fills the heart with lily-of-the-valley keeping it fresh rather than heady. The base is the warm half: vanilla and tonka bean over cedar and sandalwood, so the fragrance moves from green to gourmand without ever becoming sweet enough to cloy. Easy to wear and quietly rich. It lasts a long time and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
