Tuxedo is a chypre for women and men, composed by Juliette Karagueuzoglou for Yves Saint Laurent in 2015 as one of the five in Le Vestiaire des Parfums, a collection named after the house's own garments. It is dark and dressed-up as promised: violet leaf, coriander and bergamot at the top, black pepper cutting through rose and lily-of-the-valley in the middle, then patchouli, Bourbon vanilla and ambergris making a smooth, faintly sweet base. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits evenings in spring, autumn and winter.
